In view of the challenge to achieve Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings, building services systems increasingly rely on renewable energy sources: solar thermal, heat pumps, geothermal, biomass, photovoltaics. This webinar deals with handling renewable energy systems in the EPC (Energy Performance Certificate).
The webinar consists of two parts:
- The first part, presented by Susanne Geissler (OEGNB) deals with the challenge to achieve compliant input data for EPC calculation, and an EPC which can be trusted.
- The second part, presented by François Durier (CETIAT) addresses relevant aspects of the proposed revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), in particular the introduction of a ‘smartness indicator’ of the building and how to deal with flexibility.
